I'm not sure what to hope regarding JoeC. I'd rather see him fight Pavlik in his last fight TBH.

Mogens Palle, the promoter of Mikkel Kessler, has, in seriousness, said that he expects Kessler to fight Jones after Sartison and that he's negotiating Team RJJ. I wonder if Jones would rather fight Kessler than Calzaghe?

Campbell will punish Khan in the mid to late rounds

Khan is not the finished article, his power fades in fights and Nate is undoubted world class. The way I look at it is Khan likes to try and sit down on punches a little too much, leaving himself open. It aint like he is constantly moving left and right and potshotting. He sits down. And if he sits down with Campbell he's gonna eat right hands

I think Khan is ready after the gomez fight. Whats the point of going around fighting bums, when the only way he can really prove himself is by fighting the likes of Diaz, Casamayor, Katsidis and Campbell.

When you are being offered the big fights, in my book you are ready. I would rather lose in a big fight against Campbell and get my name out there, than lose against Romanov and be thrown into the sea.

Katsidis is a inferior fighter to Khan, but he lit the Americans imagination and is now on their lips. Khan needs to get out there and show them his talent, win or lose.

I would think so too. Money-wise and punching-power-wise it would be best. I am sure that Team RJJ is using Team Kesslers interest to gain leverage in the Calzaghe negotiations.

Joe has said that it will be his last fight. I hope he sticks to his word, but ofcourse you cant count on any fighter to stick on his retirement-word.

If they really want to make big money at the gate and sell a bunch of US PPVs, they will put BOTH of these fights on the same card.

Yeah, I know, it's not very realistic.

The sad reality about boxing PPVs is, when you have a big enough market for one main event (like Cal-RJJ), you spend all the money putting that together and then throw a bunch of mismatches on the undercard.

It's the GBP school of promoting, and it's the biggest reason they've lost me as an ardent supporter. The only way they can justify even doing the Mayweather-DLH II card is if they put one at least one GREAT and hopefully two or three VERY GOOD undercard bouts. But, because the main event will sell at least a million by itself, that won't happen.

But I've digressed...A Cal-RJJ/Campbell-Khan PPV card could do very well on HBO PPV and of course in the UK. Two of the three biggest UK stars and a huge US star and a great underdog-turned-champion story (Campbell), that has all the makings for a double-shot 24/7 on HBO--the series could feature the backstories of BOTH fights, following all four fighters. It would be fantastic, for fans in Europe and the US. Anyone with me on this?

He's going to make $30 - $40 million fighting Joe.

I would pay £50 for a RJJ vs Cal and a Campbell vs Khan PPV

I believe Warren and King seriously negotiated RJJ and Calzaghe but I think talk of Khan v Campbell is just Warren hype, he aint gonna take risks with his cashcow Khan anytime soon.
