Why are UFC crowds so small??

Whenever I watch UFC on Tuesday nights, it's always taking place in a very small venue, a lot like a school gym, and the crowds are only a handful.

If this sport is suppose to be competing with boxing, why is there very few people watching it?and in such small venues??

lol UFC, what a joke. Its sad all their fans sound off against Boxing saying its dead etc and that MMA is growing rapidly. Well its growing rapidly because its so small, if it didn't grow it would curl into a ball and die. Boxing is the purest form of combat on the planet, it will always dominate MMA and get bigger audeiences. Also, maybe loads of people watch MMA on TV.

LMAORTF, are you talking about the UFC television show? The Ultimate fighter isn't an event, it's a competition.

LOL...I think you're talking about the show The Ultimate Fighter.

Regular UFC attendance numbers are anywhere from 20-25,000 for PPVs. In the UK they had a 50,000 attendance mark.

When Pride was poppin over in Japan they had around 60-70,000 attendance in those huge stadiums.

It's the Ultimate Fighter you're talking about. Team Forrest and Team Rampage both train fighters and fight them in a gym and the only people there are the cameramen and the rest of the team.
