Whenever there is a split decision victory and the scorecards are announced, why is it they always seem to announce the loser first, i.e winning the first card and then losing on the next two cards.
This never happened in the Witter-Bradley fight, so maybe this happens in America and not Britain.
Hopkins won the first card, but the next two were for Calzaghe, so is it always announced like that in America.
Maybe it has just been coincidence and I am imagining it, but it always seems like that whenever I see a split decision win.
Can anyone give me an example of a split decision in america when this hasn't happened.
