Coolest boxer u have met yet?

I have met alot of them in my gym and I think that Glen Johnson was the coolest. But yes john I agree that out of all the atheletes I have met boxers are the must humble in my opinion.

I have only Met Lucian Bute my Romanian pride, he's one of the nicest people i've ever met in my life, he doesn't show off and he's really really nice!

Yes, you mentioned Tito. I spent a little bit of time with him in NYC several days in a row lastyear...and he was very nice, VERY wiling to hang out and talk. At one point I had to go to the gym and he kept talking and talking and I wanted to stay but had to go...and I just told his friend to tell him in spanish that I was real sorry but I GOTTA GO lolol

As for Sugar Ray, I can't say that I have ever seen him not be cool with people

I met Oscar at a golf tournament once, lol him and Dan Marjle were surrounded by chicks, he signed my magazine and shook my hand. And when the Marquez brothers fought Jaendeng and Mabuza I met Jose Antonio Izquierdo, you're probably askin "who the **** is that!?" but I met him when I was gettin a beer. Gave em a pound and told em good fight lol.

But the coolest athlete has to be Jerry Rice, I was like 14 years old and he was signin autographs and just surrounded by people, he said one more and he litterally walked through the crowd and signed my card and left with his secruity. That was ****in amazing cause I didn't even expect that, Jerry Rice is awesome lol.

The most famous boxer I've ever met is Joe Frazier. He's a really nice guy.

Theres alot of great ones but I'd have to say:

Marlon Starling, Aaron Pryor, Charles Mooney, and Tony 'Tiger' Lopez I had a great time speaking to. Carmen Basilio as well.
Ricardo 'finito' Lopez was another awesome guy and so is Lou Savarese. Derrick Rossy was very nice as well. Livingstone Bramble is a down to earth guy and Alexis Arguello is very kind. Vinny Pazienza is also a real awesome guy to the fans.

From my experiences Tua has always been a very nice man. I talked to him at a press conference in NYC before he fought some journeyman Eddie Guttierez. He took the time to talk to me and was very open about his career, which isn't how I imagined him to be.

He had a very good sense of humor, had a humble demeanor and liked to talk about boxing. He's one of the coolest guys I had met.

i had a question though since you seen him in person. How big does the guy look. he's a heavyweight and some are bigger than others. reason why im asking is because most people who watched him fight say he's a small guy....it's confusing. it's the same thing they were saying about tyson, but for a guy who weighs more than 240 pounds he must be bigger than an average man, right? ive never looked at tyson as a small guy (short yes) but everyone who seen him says he looks like a big light heavy especially back in the day.
tua is 5'9 i would guess that he must be wide as an ox, or is it true what people say about his size. i can only tell from my tv but he looks a little bigger than tyson.

I might say that Tua is about 5'8, he wasn't much taller than me. He doesn't look too big from the top up, but when I went to the fight I couldn't believe how big his legs were. His calves were the size of my waist. He is a very deceptively sized guy.
