what style?

i haven't yet boxed but i will soon and i'am stuck in the middle i don't know what style to develop i can switch but i'am a southpaw mainly so i don't know weather to go with the switcher hitter style, but i've got good fast hands and would like to be a good denfensive boxer its just which style to go with the cory spinks defensive style or the junior witter witter style? Answer Plz! I want a style that will make me be orkwood!

Err dude I wouldn't go switching. Only the best in the world can make any use of it, i.e. Floyd throwing a big left out of the southpaw stance. I mean look at Witter last night, he spent half the night switching stance while he should have been unloading. Just keep your left hand on your chin and float your jab hand around slightly, most important thing to do though is relax.

You box the style your trainer teaches you. Don't try the stuff you see on TV without an understanding of the basics. You might end up like Charlie Zelenoff.
