Carl Froch is **** ...

Fair enough you have obviously seen him fight way more than me, but i think having his hands low is like a bad habit and i cant see him changing his style .. its like he loves it and thats just how he fights, hopefully we see him against a good opponent soon but i cant see him going too far.

Who trains him?

He's trained by Rob McCracken. I don't know much of him, except he was a former Middleweight contender that failed to make any waves. He also trained Howard Eastman years ago. He's a part of the Hennesy stable.

I was very disappointed in Carl last night. I Know he has had terrible preparation with numerous opponents pulling, but I still did not like the way he fought. He neglected the jab and just tried to bomb the pole out of there; he was not near his best last night. Today though, I have seen a lot of posts writing him off and saying he'd lose to the other threats at 168Lbs but I feel he is still a dangerous opponent for everyone at the weight.

His power is not overrated at all IMO, if he sits down on his punches he is a devastating puncher, with power in both hands, who could hurt anyone at smw. The pole took some huge punches last night but was ready to go. One more thing, why does he have that left so low. I know he has had that style his whole career but last night he was getting hit too easy and alot of those punches would have been blocked if he just held that left up. I know that the low left allows him to fire in shots from strange angles but I think it is more problematic then beneficial. Carl knows his next fight needs to be against a ranked opponent and then we will find what he is made of.

Fair enough, Mcguigan holds him in high regard as do i, but like the masses, i think we should wait until he proves it among the top dogs in the division.

Sometimes its easy to tell if a fighter has a chance at the top level and in my opinion its easy to tell he has no chance, he is european level at best .. just my opinion though .. same could be said about Khan.

I'm just not a fan of Froch.

He is one british fighter i definately wont be following ... i see nothing ... he has low hands, **** footwork, hes slow, doesn't put combinations together, hes open to almost every punch in boxing, he fights bums and his power is WAY over rated.

In my opinion, Kessler, Miranda, Pavlik, Calzaghe, Taylor, Bute would all beat him ... all of them are leagues above.

What do his fans see in him?

As much as I don't like Miranda, I have alot of respect for him, he's got balls and can punch like a mule, he knocks him the **** out.

This is a myth. If you have ever heard Carl Froch speak you would realise he is a very respectful individual who just wants a shot. He is also very confident, but I tend to think that helps as he is in the business of boxing.
