I'm not overly excited about Bradley either but hopefully he'll do better than you expect him to, Steel.

Aye. I dont mind Witter, but his fans/Hatton's detractors have made it so that I was quite happy that he lost last night and he DEFINITELY lost. I had Bradley by a clear 3/4 rounds.

With that said, about Witter's credentials of fighting Hatton...there is no way that Hatton at his worst would've lost to Bradley last night.

He never actually said he wanted to fight Hatton. He was asked and basically said he had management and promoters to work on all that. He listed a few fights available, IBF champ? asked about Hatton he said he liked Hatton, but he's let his people work all that out. Asked about Witter he said if people want to see it, if he comes to the US, sure why not..

i wouldnt be at all surprised if witters promoter was too ****ing ****** to add a rematch clause in, if not there wont be one, there will be ZERO interest in the fight stateside, witter was his boring self. bradley should fight a mandatory, hopkins and alexander are in the top 5 wbc rankings, they would be up for it and more around bradleys experience. he should then look at kotelnik, it would be a long time before he is ready to outbox malignaggi and although torres is not that special he is a big enough puncher to be a threat to him, bradley did seem open sometimes last night, even against the piss poor opposition!

by the way, where are all the hatton haters, witter bumchums! i think they all watched witter for the first time last night and realised he is **** all, never deserved a shot, it was just the press in the uk wanting to see an all uk world title fight.

well if there is no rematch clause Witter would probably only need to win an elminator

Solid win for Bradley. He really impressed me last year on ShowBox and I'm glad to see those skills translate into a world title so quickly. He'll keep learning and getting better; if he can be disciplined enough to stay at 140, he could dominate.

Bradley was mandatory and i am sure that you cant have promoter options and rematch clauses on mandatory defences. unless that is if its only on purse bids??
