If so was he gassed at the end, is he getting old or was Tim Bradley simply way better than anyone knew?
he usually is thought of as quite well conditioned, but thats cos his last few fights have been against shot fighters (harris) or guys who expend alot of energy at the same time as fighting exactly the fight witter wants to (ndou). bradley was smart and witter looked awful, he will never get another title shot, he was high rick low reward with a belt, now people have ZERO reasons to fight him.

is it just me or is mick hennessy the worst ****ing promoter in the world! witter, thaxton, froch, all they do is chase one big fight against their clear superiors hatton, khan, and calzaghe, and meanwhile they are lined up against bums or high risk low reward fighters! thaxton and witter are done, froch should go elsewhere, he has a chance in an open division and is the youngest of the three.

Was he even a top 10 junior welterweight? I'll try not to make excuses for Witter but the 9 month lay-off and the change of opponents obviously affected him. And Witter didn't seem to motivated for this fight, I felt like Witter should of pushed for a fight against D-Hop and still should pursue that match.
he had 8 weeks notice for the fight, generally considered a full training camp, and he was already fight fit for the hopkins match so just had to adjust styles which he clearly made no attempt to do, if he is too ****ing lazy to watch some videos and use his brain then he deserves nothing.

by the way, bradley was high risk low reward, but thats what people have been saying about witter for years! and witter fans just complain he is being ducked!

witter is ****. His fights are boring. he got shown up on saturday. all he is going to be known for is a second rate fighter who chased hatton for years and based on saturdays performance people will understand why hatton never gave him a shot

Witter wasn't all there on Saturday. Even Bradley said Witter underestimated him and that's why he won.

Doesn't mean he's suddenly become dog tod. Everyone has off-nights, especially when you don't focus on your immediate fight. History is littered with examples. I expect he'd win any rematch and would pick him to beat any of the other titleists.

Witter would retire after that embarrassing performance but at 34 he's still has not had a big payday to retire with. That's why he was begging Ricky to beat him up, for the money. I think Witter and his team knew he couldn't beat top fighters so they tried to lure Hatton into giving him a payday while Junior kept fighting bums and now he's lost to two of them...

Another OVERRATED boxer. Witter is nothing. Thank God he didnt fought Hatton, the fight would have ended by ko.

I don't know what he's gonna do now. He's gonna have a hell of a time getting a big fight. I was looking forward to a big showdown with Hatton too.
