In his toughest bout to date, unbeaten super lightweight Mike Alvarado (21-0, 13 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over Michel Rosales (20-2, 18 KOs) on Friday night at the Isleta Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was a hard fought battle from the opening ball with both fighters landing bombs throughout. The end came at 1:28 of round seven when an Alvarado barrage prompted referee Rocky Burke to surprisingly halt the bout.
