Absolutely, although to be fair Bonin is not Wlad. Like I say IMO Haye will still have monster power in his HW body. Wlad in particular does not do well with these type of guys, he wont be able to keep Haye at arms length like he did Ibragimov. The ONLY question left I believe is whether Haye can take a decent shot on the chin from a heavy hitter like Wlad or Peters and we wont know that until he's in there with them.
is Haye crossing the line & disrepecting Wlad

VERY well said mate ... i cant really say much else apart from the fact that you seem to be one of only 2 or 3 posters on this thread that actually seem to know and understand anything about boxing. He's just trying to sell the fight!! I'm sure you laugh at the stuff Ali used to come out with.....even when he was a complete underdog with Liston.
Look, the people want, what they want, they saw Wlads last fight and rightly so are completley uninspired by him, they see David Haye and see a guy who could completley fall flat on his face but its that uncertainty about him at the weight that makes the fight exciting.
He COULD have taken a few years, fought some of the also rans in the division, got a few nice paydays before going after Wlad. But he hasn't, he's a ****y bastard who thinks he can go and beat the HW champ of the world, theres every reason in the world to doubt him but I for one can't wait to see this fight, win or lose for Haye, at least it'll be one exciting fight coming up in the HW division.
on the Haye vs Thompson points i totally agree with you, Haye had Carl out on his feet a few times and got gassed out because of inexperience and underestimating his opponent, For those who think Carl Thompson was a bum who fought no one .... meh!! again refer to the point made above about there being only a couple of intelligent posters in this thread .... all those who think he was a bum are NOT on that list ... go check his record people.we all know Williams was overhyped & overated
an inexperienced kid fighting a former world Champion after 10/11 fights who paid the price for overlooking Thompsons age and like i pointed out earlier his powers of recovery when he is hurt which he has showed his whole career regardless of his age ,add to that an inexperienced fighter who has never done 12 rounds and has finished nearly all of his oponents inside 4 rounds and thus probably did'nt know how to or was'nt prepapred to get his body in peak condition ,u have a reciepe for disaster
need i remind u that Margarito has been beaten 5 times and once by an overated Paul Williams and he was getting owned be Josh Clottey unitll his hand broke
im not convinced Haye would beat Wlad right now, but he certainly does stand a chance .... Haye and Macaranelli are 2 of the heaviest hitters in the game , period and to say Haye will not carry that power up is a travesty ... he has to boil down to make CW and is a natural HW, i do think if he got close enough to Wlad he COULD KO HIM, same goes the other way round tho too!!!
The only way to settle this is to GET IT ON!!!!!Comment

Bonin 6'1" and was 231, had already been stopped by Audley Harrison, and had been fed a steady diet of stiffs. I like the way Haye stopped him early, but Bonin is not a valid measuring stick to see how Haye will perform at HW.Comment

Audley stopped him on cuts. **** resume but he's a tough bloke. It's a good indicator of the speed differenceComment

haye needs wlad
wlad doesn't need haye therefore you see haye acting like a little 5 year old ***** begging for candy, somebody should tell haye
"be careful what you wish for"Comment
at the moment he dont need Haye but in a way he should be praying that Haye is a success at HW cause then he has the chance to fight and beat a fairly credible oponent in his era which can ony enhance his reputationComment
yeah the things is aswell while i pick Wlad to beat Haye but give Haye a great chance of beating Wlad also , Bonin has a better chin than Wlad and has never been Koed before yet Haye took him out in one round so Haye deffo has power at HWComment
