What does 'PTS' mean when it comes to a fight decision?

    What does 'PTS' mean when it comes to a fight decision?

    I'm assuming it means points, but why is it used instead of unanimous decision or split decision?

    Because there was only one person judging the fight.

      You mean for the Witter fight on Boxrec?

      They will change it later I think... 'PTS' is usually used for fights under 12 rounds or if no score card was given.
