In his book he say that eddie davis was 40 year old when Lalonde beat him for the title, like to demean Lalonde. But Davis was only 35 and that might not seem like a big deal but that means a lot in this context of the book.

he was talking about how he was on the way to donnt house to kill him, shoot him. and he was talking about his career, saying he would have gotten a lot of money for lalondes fight with sugarman. he said he won the title over a 40 year old davis. tryna make him look bad it seemed to the readers. read it and you seeComment
