Match outcomes that make you go "hmmm..." years later

    I'll start with two:
    Zab Judah UD Junior Witter
    Fernando Vargas MD Winky Wright

Basically, I'm looking for a fight in which the winner was the guy who was expected to win, but the loser ended up having the better career. Not a fluke, just bad timing or something like that.

    This could be fun.

Some might say that Roy UD Hops is like that. I mean Hops never got Koed like Roy but also never won a HW title......It's arguable but I think it could apply in this case in some peoples eyes.

They both have fought sub-standard fighters, but Ottke at least defended his title a ga-jillion times.

Well it's hard to say... Mundine is far better than Ottke imo but his resume is equally as ****. Ottke has the better resume by a bit though.

                  Mayorga KO3 Forrest

I mean, in terms of recognititon and wins they're probably equal being that Forrest beat a prime Mosley twice, but that win was more or less shocking, and it's good that Vernon could come out better from it and continue his career to go in the right path it is now.

well I would say that Judah had the better career than Witter too though. at least to this point. Witter never got knocked out by Tsyzu, but Witter has never fought anyone near as good as Kostya...

Ill go ahead and say Campbell vs Peden. but I dont know if Peden was favoured in either of their fights or not...
