hey jackass how much you can bench doesnt equate to punching power how many times does this need to be said. My uncle benches over 400+ i know for a fact. Yet when my cousin his son held the mitts for us the son said i punch almost as hard as him, i am 141 pounds he is 260 now i bench about 130 max. Punch power is all about snap leverage and distance look at kelly pavlik thomas hearns prolly cant bench much but hit hard as ever.

Your right he does need real sparring to be competitive, but I hope he sticks to his old training techniques because of the comedy that is involved.
