    the miguel cotto enigma

you know I've gotten pretty tired of a lot of posters on this site, who always got some **** to say about miguel, usually it's an argument with zero legitimacy, but what bothers me the most is posters who behave like they know a fighter, and thus feel the need to attack another poster if the other poster has a differing opinion as if that poster knew said fighter, like you're supposed to get offended, obviously they have there own agenda,a haters agenda.which brings me to my point.ever since cotto has become a name in boxing there have been countless criticisms in regards to the fighter he is and the man that he is.someone always has something extra in the pocket for a rainy day when he's shining.his chin is weak he got rocked by so and so,ok then what's your point?even the great ali had been down in his career.he's a cheater,he throws lowblows, countless fighters got there little tricks up there sleaves, hopkins throws a combination of a straight right and his ****ing head, but it's savvy when he does it,when castillo threw three low blows to corrales in there first epic fight it wasn't dirty,it's body punching, when cotto does it its a puerto rican thang he got from tito.holyfield gets all the praise in the world for being a warrior instead of a headbutter.no one call him a dirty fighter.know you got some "fans"asking "oh when did cotto become a boxer?"
gee i don't know when he first followed his brothers to the ****ing gym?you got some talking bout "oh he cant fighting going backwards"yeah.ok.see this when you know they don't actually watch the fight, they wait for a little something to complain about like "oh he did this",he hasnt signed the contract to fight margarito,it's cool for every other fighter to cash out but him,i get it.man you dudes have been pulling on strings since forever.fact of the matter is you're running out of opponents that you'll say he lose to.keep it up though.
    its funny.

you want to see cotto boxing,go to ****ing youtube.
in fact i'll help you out.
he here is vs abdullaev sticking and moving

ok now for the laman who'll call this running
when you watch a fight you watch the gloves hit the face and body don't look at the feet,ok?

watch how cotto is moving in the twelfth round,in which a lot of "boxing experts" on this site said mosley had him hurt, mosely doesn't land a significant blow in the twelth round before he falls, when the ref stopped the fight to tell them to wipe the water they called him a crooked ref,
don't judge a fight by what you expect a fighter to do,
watch it for what he does.he's undefeated and on his way to being a great fighter.

remember when cotto boxes its running, when everyone else does its boxing.

him vs ceballos where he 'boxed"

    vs abdullaev

you can't make a concise argument here unless you quote someone else and add"plain and basic common sense"
    you bochincheras hilarious.
fact of the matter is none of these ****as would look at us twice in the street.
thats my response to my e-stalkers.

Cottos a better fighter than De La Hoya, was, and is. About all I can say, he would've beaten Trinidad.

what i find amusing is how someone will find ANYTHING to criticize when he really has had a meaningful successful career.

"he's too boring, he has no personality"

are you ****ing serious? is he a TV host or some ****? Is he on American Idol? HE IS A ****ING BOXER

Cotto doesn't get nearly half the hate as other fighters on here.

one thing is for sure, its been good to watch Cotto improve in each passing fight and to see him sort of being baptised by some of the best in the sport. if there is anything we know about Cotto is that he is a big risk taker, the man has loads of heart and is willing to climb up off the canvas to win we dont know what will happen if a guy like Mayweather hits the canvas does he have the heart to get up and step inside to get it done? that has yet to be shown and it could be the difference in who wins if they fight.

                    get em'...lol

Im a fan of Cottos but at the same time I am a realist. No one is undefeated forever and I know he will lose sooner or later. But I just cant see him losing anytime soon. In every single fight that I have followed cotto people always pick against him. When I mean always, its always. The majority are against him. Hes the type of boxer that will never get the full credit he deserves. IMO. There will always be something to nitpick about him.But I guess thats just how life works. Because he got rocked, because he got dropped, because he beat a faster fighter, because he beat an old fighter, beause he doesnt sign the contract fast enough, because he doesnt talk trash. Theres always a little something. But its because he beats the odds is why hes the best right now.
