He did not get lucky, and Wlad did not in any way want a rematch with Corrie. Look boxing there is no luck in this sport, and how many times did the man drop Wlad? you cant just call that luck.
Like I said he was a C Level fighter who was knocked out by Rahman for god sakes, this isnt to knock Wlad by any means this is simply being argued to prove a point, C Level fighters can sometimes rise above the odds and get it done history has proven this.

No surprise of course. The shot that caused it went directly into the socket at a weird angle. It wouldn't take alot of pressure or force to cause the damage. The edge of the glove lanced right in there.

It was a very unusual punch. Anyone could have landed that on anyone.

Floyd making a rematch with the washed up, past prime Oscar is a disgrace.
no way forbes fought very well that night, he would of gave any top fighter problems

are you serious. Lucky is what happened to hasim when he ko'd lewis with one punch. Wlad was getting hit almost every 10 seconds with good shots, he also went down 3-4 times how is that luck

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer said he would meet in the next few days with Mayweather adviser Al Haymon to finalize the deal for Mayweather-De La Hoya II. De La Hoya said he was fine physically after his victory against Forbes -- despite a sore left hand and swelling around his right eye caused by a hairline fracture of a facial bone. De La Hoya had an MRI after the fight and a follow-up exam Monday. "I was very concerned about my eye and my hand, but after a couple of days of rest and ice, the swelling has gone down," De La Hoya said Thursday. "There is a hairline fracture [around the eye] but nothing serious. It will just take some rest."
