By Jake Donovan - WBC super lightweight world titlist Junior “the Hitter” Witter (36-1-2, 21KO) and unbeaten challenger Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley (21-0, 10KO) both made weight for Saturday night’s showdown at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham, England.
Witter, who makes the third defense of his crown, weighed 139.7. Bradley, in his first world title fight, as well as his first bout outside of his home state of California, was 139.5.
Official WBC Super Middleweight mandatory Carl “The Cobra” Froch weighed in at 168.6 for his clash against unbeaten Albert Rybacki, who weighed 168.8. Froch, originally scheduled to headline the card against fellow unbeaten contender Dennis Inkin, makes his SHOWTIME debut with this co-feature bout. [details]
