at this point? isnt it a bit too early? I was thinking about it too, but I thought either Linares wins by size, or there is a not so small chance that it might be like Chavez-Taylor, Moore-Duran, Reid-Trinidad and so on...

Either outcome I would not like to see

Linares would beat Vazquez unfortunately. too smart, too big. I like them to much for me to want this to even remotely be considered.

I'd like him to move up and face JMM, then win or lose, move back down to clean up 126.

          At 126 right now, Guerrero.

Juan Manuel Marquez would be a monumental task. Linares in a way is very similar to Juan, but is just more aggressive. It would be a great fight, though, I dont think Juan would want to face such a young, smart, warrior at this stage of his career.

Outta that list, I'd pick Guerrero since he's the one most likely to get into a brawl with Linares. The other three are probably gonna try to box him.

I think that even in a fight with Vazquez (and it obviously applies ot JMM even more) Linares would touch deep water... You dont want to be there for the first time against that type of guys. Let me add Sanchez-Nelson to the list I made earlier.

Linares must try to clean the featherweight division.
Right now if he fought any of those four and wins in a convincing way that would be very meaningfull. Hope he does well cos he i really like how Linares fight.

It would be a very big task, a task I'm not sure he'd be able to win but it would be a very interesting fight fought at a very high skill level.

That's the point. he would be beating a great fighter who will bring his level up a notch.
