Why is Calzaghe looking at Roy Jones now? What does Roy bring to the table outside of money? And money is something Mayweather is always criticized for fighting for. So please don't tell me Calzaghe is only fighting Roy for the money, or else.....

Why doesn't Joe fight the next in line, Chad Dawson?

Why fight a guy that has been CONCUSSED twice in his last six fights and is damn near pushing 40?
Roy Jones would be the biggest name Calzaghe can add to his resume besides Pavlik. The Pavlik fight wont come off because Arum doesn't want it..

Floyd can fight Cotto and get paid BIG MONEY but he CHOOSES not to. That's the difference.

i dont understand why these fans of the european fighters are trying to hate because they have the most cowardly fighters in the world. i am not even a mayweather fan but even he is not as cowardly as many european fighters especially calzaghe. and hatton is maybe the same size as mayweather so that makes no sense not to count him.

Calzhage is the most overrated fighter in boxing..

          Corrales had mule-kick punches..

Joe punches like A GIRL SWATTING FLIES

Regardless, Calzaghe had plenty of opportunities to fight other great fighters during the earlier part of his career. But the fragile bastid was always injured and pulling out of fights.

What happened to the GLEN JOHNSON fight?
I remember Joe was supposed to fight the winner of Echols/Brewer..but he fought the loser instead..

A U.S fighter would have been laughed out of the Country for pulling a gay-assed stunt like that.

It's stacked! Calzaghe fought the best in his division, the two young lions who many people thought would beat him. It's time for Floyd to do the same...
It's easy to fight every chump in a division that had no great fighters around. Keeping it safe, fighting 40 of your 45 fighting in your backyard of cardiff, wales defening a meaningless sanctioning body belt.

Had he actually steped it up and came to America to challange all the great fighters at their prime, he would have lost a long time ago.

What the hell has Floyd done in comparison? If Floyd gets a loss his 39-1 record wouldn't look that good at all.
If Calzaghe got a loss his 45-1 record would really not look good at all. Making 20 title defenses in a division that had no great fighters around and moving up to fight a 43 year old inactive Ring magazine champion.

No matter what, Floyd is a 5-division champ. 8 title defenses at 130. 4 title defenses at 135. Beat the linear welter champ. Beat the best jr.middleweight at that time, unless you considered Spinks a better fighter then Oscar.

                Facts that limey's can't handle.

Floyd didn't beat the best fighters in each division he went to, he targeted the weak belt holders.

So what you're saying is Miguel Cotto (top rank) can offer more money to Floyd Mayweather than Oscar De La Hoya can.
