Duran is probably the best example he was a legit LW linear champ and a legit MW champ. He also went against real threats and ATG's and either won or held his own.

Unlike some others who went up multiple weight classes Duran didn't grow out of his weight class he chose to fight the best i.e. I think DLH turned into a natural WW even though he competed a lighter weights.
