De La Hoya To Use Big Bear For Mayweather

Oscar De La Hoya plans to go back to his roots in preparation for an anticipated rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 20. De La Hoya plans to move his training camp to Big Bear, California. For his last two fights, with Ricardo Mayorga and Mayweather, he used the Wilfredo Gomez boxing gym in Puerto Rico.

Every time I see it in print the idea that Mayweather Sr. is going to do this gets more and more Springer. What is going to happen? How is this going to play out? Man.. This is going to be weird, sick.. I can't call it..

floyd better watch his ass and deliver a gatti-esuqe like asswhooping on Oscar. The fact that judges had the first fight as a split decision should alert him as to what could possibly happen. If Oscar looks decent, they'll call it great. And I truly doubt that the general pop would be up in arms if a 'Felix Strum' was pulled on Floyd. Floyd is prolly the most disliked boxer, outside of Tyson that I've seen and people actually liked the prime Tyson. Floyd going to **** around and have a 100 plus punch stat advantage at the end of the fight and still lose. Floyd going to have to lay hands on ole boy this time around.

IMO DLH is giving up his chance of winning by agreeing to fight at 150. His best chance is at 154. Him going down only helps Mayweather and harms him. All of this Big Bear, Floyd Sr and training with the jab in mind will be for naught if this fight is anywhere below 154 pounds.

Oscar is starting to sound a little toooooo desperate to prove he can beat floyd, as oppose to knowing he will. if oscar trains harder, so will floyd. but the first fight was close and to all those who keep sayin floyd whooped oscars ass, watch the fight again. oscar had the early rounds, floyd the latter. no ass whooping happened because they are two quality fighters.
