Quintana v. williams (im still convinced williams is the better fighter).
Cotto v. mosley (i dont know for certain if he'd win but they fought close the first time so he definately has the chance to beat him especially after being in a fight with him already)...
De la hoya v. mayweather...i 110% believe (in my heart) that oscar could very well beat floyd in the rematch and i've said why in countless threads but to sum it up:
A) Oscar fought him VERY close in the first fight and i scored it a draw (refer to my sig for the specific rounds) and think a few adjustments could get him over the hump and get the win.
B) Oscar's stamina/endurance has improved greatly since the mayweather fight (yeah it was against forbes but the level of opponent wont matter; if you tire out; you tire out...and oscar attempted more punches and recieved more punches with the forbes fight than against floyd and he didnt tire out hardly at all)
C) floyd sr is training oscar...he's not the best trainer in the world but for this fight i think he's the most logical choice
D) floyd has had a long time off...it could conspire against him to where he needs a few rounds to get back in the groove and those rounds could prove to be the deciding factor in the fight....
it will be a close fight no matter who wins...you better believe it.
and to the poster who said they believe taylor is still better than pavlik; i agree with you...
pavlik has a better chin and is a harder puncher but taylor is the superior boxer in my opinion.Last edited by frankpaganini; 05-09-2008, 02:56 AM.Comment
