    Does WWE'S dissapointing numbers...(Mayweather)

Prove that mayweather is not a draw and that mayweather gets huge numbers due to the fighters he fights? WWE expected much higher buys then what actually happened.

LOL. It proves ****. How can Mayweather be to blame for the entire PPV?

my understanding is that his involvement was suppose to help increase pay per view buys, but it actually went backwards instead of forward

I'm sure they thought it would help, otherwise they wouldn't have had him on there. But I seriously doubt the large number of diehard wrestling fans would pass up on the PPV just because Floyd was going to be on there. At the same time, I doubt many people ordered it just because he was on it.

I just don't think a WWE PPV has anything to do with his draw power in boxing.

Didn't it still do like 1.05 million? That's not bad for a PPV that cost like 60 dollars.

i think the thread was made because there was a large amount of posters here who were more than passionately confident that mayweather's "celebrity" was significant enough to help surpass last years WWE numbers.
