The case is clear.

It's painfully obvious that Mr. Judah was eating a PB n J sandwhich while enjoying a bath. After cutting the crust from the bread, he sat the knife on the edge of the tub. After consuming said delicious sandwhich, he went to get out of the bathtub, knocking the knife into the tub, with it landing upright. He then slipped, and fell on the knife. Tried to get up, slipped and fell again, on the still perfectly upright knife. Again tried to get up, slipped yet again, falling on the knife for a third time.

Jeez, sometimes you guys just put too much thought into these things.
