YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mundine. u tell em. u r the king. u da MAN!!!!!The war or words continue between Anthony Mundine and trainer/former champion Jeff Fenech. The rift began after Mundine called the June 24 trilogy bout between Fenech, 43, and Azumah Nelson, 49, "a battle of the jurassics." Fenech went on the attack and said his trilogy bout held more credibility than Mundine's third meeting with Sam Soliman on May 28. Fenech called the Mundine-Soliman trilogy "a farce" to boxing and told fans to avoid supporting the fight. [details]Comment

I would say Ali is a ****** and look at him now. Tyson is a ****** and look at him now. Robinson, Louis, Frazier, Foreman, Leonard, Holyfield were all Christians. All still had their health and never went down the dark tunnels that Ali and Tyson did.fair enough you hae a good point there. but remenber one thing the GREATEST boxers to have evr lived were ******. mohammad ali, mike tyson(wouldnt say the greatest of him but 1 of the best) bernard hopkins(a very good and great of the middle wight division) and proberly whicth havent came to my mind. so what do u have to say about them?Comment

Dude are you like 8 years old? I think we all know here that Mundine was a baby then. Its not the same fighter there is today.
In fact in another thread, "fight outcomes that make you think what"?, everyone said Ottke TKO Mundine. It just didn't add up.
He had no amateur experience, his 10th pro fight. Enough said. He has fixed his flaws.
Hell everyone has amateur losses, and that is what it practically was.Comment

No one can doubt Mundine has boxing ability, but he is a good fighter, not a great fighter. Your criticism of him is always fair and backed up with facts and you will defend him fairly when you can, but man is that getting difficult!!Dude are you like 8 years old? I think we all know here that Mundine was a baby then. Its not the same fighter there is today.

It was highly irresponisble for him to come out with a comment like that, as you can see from some of the chatter it has prevoked on this board. Christianity and Islam have been corrupted by individuals seeking power; the atrraction of Islam for young black people in the US (and native Australians for that matter), given the social conditions in the 60's and 70's, was undenialable - in Islam everyone is equal, theorhetically, unless you are a woman, or a poorly paid Indonesian working for a rich Saudi family. Christianity also has its own problems, the rise of the evangelicals and their increasing political influence.
On the issue of boxers, most of the great boxers (including the greatest) were born christian, but converted for the reasons discussed above, so the argument is far more complex.
I've got christian and ****** friends, they agree on the majority of things and all of them think Mundine is a ****** prick.Comment
