***Your opinion if I train B-Strege for his pro debut***

I've sent a message to strege and he's interested enough to talk but we havent had the chance to talk just yet and a couple people here have said i should do it so i'd like to know what the overall opinion is if i train b-strege?

Whether its against hartley; zelenoff or someone else.

    vote in the poll...

by the way im between jobs and kind of broke...

if i trained him would anyone be willing to donate a dollar each? (to possibly help with the money for travel and whatnot)?

not looking to get paid...just not looking to go further in debt.

even if no one is willing to donate a dollar i'd still train him if boxingscene was in support (in majority)

i think most of the replies are actually taking the piss of the situation.

After watching the Hartley fight, it is clear that even he "the title holder" has no place in a professional boxing ring and should either fight as an amatuer until he actually gets some skill - or hangs up his gloves indefinately.

B Strege is what? 40yrs old, possibly the oldest for a pro debut in history and even though he MAY have some natural talent, at 40 shouldn't be encouraged to fight as the risks his own health for what? the entertainment of a few watchers on youtube, who dont actually enjoy the fight for the sport but as a comedy act.

just my opinion mate, i wouldnt STOP him if he wants to do it like.

Is zelenoff that skinny dude that hartley stopped in the 1st round ?
If so, who cares what this bum says :P He can't box for ****, i just seen a guy scared to stand toe to toe with a fighter much smaller and who ran away when punches were thrown.

Actually training a boxer in a pro/amatuer fight? none...

i have given little tips/lessons from time to time to certain guys i know but never trained any of them in their fights...

That would be the biggest difference.

The closest i been to actually training was when a fighter (amatuer) lost his fight and he brought me a video of it and wanted me to work with him on why he was tagged so much by his opponent.

So i gave him a few tips/lessons on how to correct the issue and counter the style the other fighter used against him...

So it would be different this time as i'd have to do all the training for the fight...(ie. run him daily; make sure he gets his sparring in; work with him on the mitts; make sure he's eating properly; actually be in his corner fight night; etc.)

so it would be a little different but i dont belive it would be so different that i couldnt adapt.

i've been around fighters with their trainers (and had conversations with trainers) and picked things up along the way.

So im not extremely qualified by any means but i think i can do decently given the chance...enough at least to beat a zelenoff or a hartley...
