thats one thing about the sport (outside of the ring) i think is tough; being criticized by the fans in an extremely disrespectful way.

maybe if you're on top counting millions (like floyd) its easier but for someone like cintron still trying to scrap his way to the top of the division (or actually just earn a decent place in the division at this point) i'd imagine they'd snap at these so called, "fans"...

I welcome and respect your opinion. I am glad that you wrote in this context so that I can clarify exactly what I said. I knew it would get taken out of context just the way that you took it. I believe that Margarito can stop Cotto for the obvious reasons of size, style, power and a more solid chin. The only way we will find out is to watch in July. I believe that Cotto is a much smaller welterweight compared to the many guys that Margarito has fought. Margarito’s persistence against the bigger, stronger opponents he has faced can show up in his fight against Cotto. Take that how you would like to interpret it, but in no way did I ever say that Margarito will beat Cotto simply because I lost to him. That’s just ridiculous.

Never understood the hate for Cintron.

Actually, a lot of fighters that aren't "elite" get **** on plenty around here - "he's a bum!!" "he's a fraud!" "he's a tomato can!" etc. etc. etc.

What's wrong with just being a decent fighter these days? People like Cintron, Miranda and plenty others get disrespected so frequently and discredited as nobodies because they have a couple losses on their records. Jesus-****in-Christ, sorry not everyone in the sport is a Floyd Mayweather and undefeated and perfect in every way shape and form.

Anyways, I always thought Kermit seemed like a decent guy, his fights are almost always entertaining (win or lose) and sure, he's not the best, he's not better than mayweather or Cotto or Margarito, but he has only lost to one guy. And there are a lot of areas he can improve to become better too.

On a side note it's kinda strange cuz I'm not a fan of his or anything, but I often find myself defending him.
