Would you actually think Team Palle will give him more money than Calzaghe would bring to the table?

And a win over Calzaghe would mean more for his legacy than a win over Kessler.

That's not hating. It's very reasonable to predict Kessler to knock Jones out.

But comming from Palle I dont know what to believe. Hope this fight is on later this year.

Jones UD. He was going to face Kessler before the Clazaghe fight (Kessler-Calzaghe that is) and Kessler said Jones is his idol. I wouldn't mind Roy facing Calzaghe and than Kessler in Febuary.

RJJ is nowhere near as explosive or as fast as he was, and while it's easy to superimpose the Roy of old onto this current version it is also disingenious.
Agreed ^^^ very succintly put my friend!
IMO RJJ should retire while he still has a legacy and before he potentially gets hurt.

So many call Kessler an Elite fighter. Please tell me an opponent he has beaten to earn him that distinction. And before you come out with the usual Mundine, Beyer etc, let me say they are b- level fighters at best.

Kessler got and is getting his prime wasted away by fighting the same guys in the same weak ass division. He is learning nothing from these opponents. He is now back to doing it again. How can anyone take him and his management's actions seriously?

This is one of the big reasons he lost to Joe. He does not have the ability to adjust and was like a fish out of water. He should sue Palle and get out of his contract. It is a shame because he has one of the best base skillsets out there, but still does not know how to deal with adversity in the ring.

They will prime him up against weak opponents again, then they will land him another big fight down the road and will run into the same roadblocks as last time.

Right now Roy would have him hurt and floundering around the ring. It would not look pretty. Even an old Roy knows all the tricks.
