I feel sorry for Freddie Roach! He has openly and repeatedly stated that Pac is his #1 of all the fighters he trains! Freddie has spent countless gym hours with Pac trying to make him more than just a one weapon warrior and dude cant even report to camp on time!
Maybe Diaz can help Roach out by giving Pac an old fashioned Chi-Town beatdown and help Pac with his focusing and preparation for fights in the future, because Pacman is the future "big man" of boxing after DLH fades out!

don't take diaz lightly

Manny shouldn't take David Diaz lightly for more then one reason. First of all this is by far the biggest and strongest foe of Manny's whole career and probley takes a pucnch better then everybody exept Erik Morlaes. Second He(Diaz) has only one loss on his record and alot more experience then he is given credit for. He beat Zab Judah as an amatuer and had a ton of experience back then. As a pro he's fought some really good fighters as well. He had wars with Erik Morales,santa cruz, and Kendel holt. All of those fights and extensive amatuer backround give him a leg to stand on in getting this fight. This is Manny's first fight at lightweight and has moved up every other year for quite some time. Is this the year it catchs up to him.Though Diaz isn't thought of as a huge puncher he may just be to big and strong for the smaller man the way that Carlos Baldmier was just to big and strong for the more skilled but smaller Gatti. He(Diaz) has the skill set on the inside aswell. He can do good work in there if given the chance and since manny isn't the type of fighter to hold or tie up he may just get his chance.So with all this said I like Pacman by late round knockout. But I think it will be a war and if Pacman comes in weak he could get beat.
