    Tony Ayala

How good could of this guy been? was unbeaten before going to prision, legend has it that at the age of 14 he tamed a world champion in sparring. After serving 16 years he came out to get one fight away from a title shot, loseing in a thriller to yori boy campus. Does any one have the campus fight, i have seen it a couple of years ago, but i would like to show it to my bro, as av been telling him what a war it was.

I saw Ayala fight before he went away the first time, and he was a very dangerous fighter with championship potential. The Ayala who came out of prison 16 years later wasn't nearly the same man.

Just shows how good he was, to come out of prison after 16 years and get so close to a title fight

          He could have been great....
He was mean and nasty,in the ring and worse out of it.Kind of an ultimate pig...I remember him spitting on someone in the ring.

The swine that he was, could not deal with life, thankfully he's where he belongs.
          But yeah,he looked like a mini-Tyson...

He could have been GREAT. I mean like another Duran. My dad told me stories about him and how good he wreally was. My dad knew him a little bit when he was a trainer in Corpus Christi, Texas only a 2 hour drive from SA. But he ****ed up. My dad saod he could have went down as a top five or ten fighter of all time.

Yeah like Tyson, but more Duran. He had some boxing ability and came at you like a mad man, which is why is say almost a carbon copy of Duran.

I forgot to mention his fight with Yory Boy Campas when someone asked about Mexican boxing wars. That was a great fight. I've only seen one fight of his in his first career. And he had great technique and power.

First i ever heard about Tony Ayala Jr. is when he was intervied by Hbo. Too bad he went back inside the pen, not sure what he did but have heard differnt stories. I know what he did the first time he went in.
