Some info on Kessler's opponent Dimitri Satison (WITH PICS)

This is some info I found on a german boxing site. I hope my translation is adequate:

Sartison is born in Kazachstan and raised in Germany. He had an outstanding amateur career with 115 fights and only 10 losses. Won a silvermedal at the worldchampionships as a junior.

His trainer Magomed Schaburow says: "Sartison more than deserves this shot. I'm so happy for him because he has worked for a titlefight in more than a year. In this fight he's surely the underdog, but as you know: In boxing anything can happen."

To fight in Kessler's backyard will not be a problem as Satison has fought away from home in Poland, Tcheck-republic and Hungary. "I'm really exited of fighting in Copenhagen. Absolutely delighted! A titleshot is obviously what I've worked for. I've had a lot of injuries that I have fought trough and now it's paying off. I've been in trainingcamp near Moscow and you can't prepare any harder than that. The rest of my preparation will take place in Hamburg." Sartison said. "I'll take the title back to Germany!"

    Here's some pics:

    Good stuff!

But i hate this being called a TITLE fight.

Joe Calzaghe holds the WBA belt!!

Orginisations should have just one champion, there are enough belts around already without this added ****.

Agreed. It's alphabetboys politics. WBA is smart. When they have a champ who wins another of the big belts he is elevated to 'SUPERCHAMP' (thats JoeC). Then they make 2 contenders fight for a 'REGULAR' championship. The 'REGULAR' champion today is Anthony Mundine but he is getting stripped of his title for refusing to fight his mandatory (Kessler), so now Kessler as the no.1 contender gets to fight the highest ranked available which is Sartison who's no. 4.

In this 'brilliant' fashion WBA is able to maximize earnings by getting sanctioning fees from 2 champions. Yuck.

Is that what they actually do and not just your interpretation? They really do use the words 'regular' and 'super'? If so that is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered in boxing (after Audley Harrison).

              What is this, McDonalds?

I would like to see Kessler and Froch or Miranda/Kessler get it on for this belt. Now that would be interesting.
