Watching those videos make me really sad to be honest.

It's sad to see such a great warrior in the ring and such a great person outside of the ring have to lose his life way to soon.

Corrales V. Castillo I made me a fan; that is the best moment of his career (in my opinion)...what he did that night and in the style he did it (coming back from two knockdowns in one round and knock the guy out in that same round) is something im sure many boxers have fantasy's about when they just turn pro; or even when they were kids...

to anyone here who is an amatuer or pro fighter think back to when you were young; did you ever dream about winning a title in a dramatic way to symbolize you being a great fighter?

he did it. its the most impressive single round of boxing i've seen in probably 25+ years of fights.

Corrales was a kind/great man. in and out of the ring (as i said before)...

what made him stand out to me were fights like castillo v. corrales I...

but also in defeat he showed a ton of heart and you cant help but admire his heart if nothing else...like in these fights:

Floyd Mayweather Jr. V. Diego Corrales:

(He went down 5 times in that fight and actually got mad at his corner for stopping the fight because he still believed he could win; not only did he get knocked down 5 times; he won maybe only a round or two even for the most bias person keeping score). Thats heart and i cant help but admire him for that. true warrior.

Or against Joel Casamayor in their first fight:

he wanted to fight on; two cuts; three cuts; a hundred cuts as long as chico has a heartbeat he wants to continue.

even in defeat corrales showed a ton of heart.

          I admire him.

Rest In Peace Diego "Chico" Corrales.
