As for the thread starter I see some of your points but why fight Acelino Freitas and Casamayor if they both got beaten by the guy you demolished? Castillo also beat Casamoyor too. So based on the "rules in order to be the man you have to beat the man" he legacy is secure in those division cause he beat the men the ruled those divisions.
As someone stated earlier Hatton CLEARY ducked mayweather... he did say some crap about wanting more fights... Hatton beat Zu... May KO'd Hatton... So there's no real issue there and he's going to fight cotto (he better) as soon as cotto beats margo

Exactly........Floyd's 130 and 135 legacy is secured based on Diego Corrales and Castillo doing so well after he left the division. Those guys went on to become champions, one giving Freitas his first loss making him say "no Mas" , the other beating Casamayor. And Castillo/Corraleshad a great fight against each other further enhancing their legacy at 135 making Floyd's victories over them look better.
