After talks today with the owner of Slug Out Boxing it looks like talks have fallen through, As Brian Strege does not want to tie himself down with a Slug Out Boxing contract and wants to stay loyal to his original underground promoters, Stacy Goodson will not let Kid Thunder or Charlie Smirnoff fight Brian Strege without The Bomber signing a deal with his promotion,

Its a bit irionic for a man who says he is only in the sport for the love of it and not the money

All Brian wanted to do was box a few pro fights and hang his gloves undefeated, it seems theres a minor blip in the works, but dont worry guys well try and overcome that in the forthcoming weeks, Brian is still seeking a Professional opponent and here at Team Strege we would like to Thank You all for your ever growing support!

I don't see why Slug Out wont let him fight Hartley, The guy doesnt have to pay Brian, Brian is going to be doing this out of his own pocket. So basically the Promotion is getting Brian and JD Promotions for Free.

This fight NEEDS to happen hartly zelenoff was epic but strege vs hartley would cause worldwide blackouts because all the power in the world would be in the ring with these two powerhouses.

strege You and your promotion company need to march into the slugout boxing gym and demend A one fight contract and after that fight you could negotiate on any further bouts.

If this fight doesnt get made slug out boxing will lose a heap of cash and godson is a smart buissnesman...right?

Yeah I think we need to put pressure on SlugOut to get Strege a one fight contract or maybe even a two fight contract, so we can see him fight Zelenoff as well. It's what the fans want, to see Strege live out his dream.

As a team we would be willing to sign a 1 fight contract at a time, Brian is getting on now at the age of 40, So he doesnt really want to sign himself up for something that may not be for him after his first fight, But at the age of 40 this guy has a lot of heart and we must admire that.

Slug Out Boxing dont seem to want to negotiate either way tho, But i can safely say here at Team Strege, we WANT to fight Hartley BEFORE September!
