Is there some sort of rule about this? How long do they let a guy hold on to a belt while claiming constant injury? No slam to Chag, I'm just curious if they actually have a rule in place in regards to injuries postponing fights.

He's never delayed his mandatory before. The voluntary unification fight with Sultan was cancelled.

I believe he has until October to fight his mandatory Valuev, according to WBA rules.

Hopefully they will strip him and let Valuev fight someone for the title maybe Haye that would be cool.

Haye is not getting involved.

If Valuev gets the title back he will unify with Wlad after WK is done with Thompson and Povetkin.

Haye needs to win three quality HW fights before he gets a shot.
