Keep throwing names out, there is a minuscule chance you'll guys will be able to name him. I couldn't believe it myself.

PM it to me. You have to unify the titles to become a new champion/beat the vacant one to become lineal.

Roberto Duran, Michael Nunn, Donald Curry, Julian Jackson, Roy Jones Jr.

If these aren't right, I give up. I'll let someone else try to answer it. And PM me the answer.

        Edit: It's Tito?

WHAT?! He doesn't count because it wasn't a title fight. He vacanted the title(s) and so it doesn't count.

I've never heard of linear title vacated before. Since he didn't lose he was technically still the champion.

This is the same situation with Ali-Holmes. Holmes had the belt but Ali vacated his belt to retire but he was still the linear champion.

#2- After leonard, the Wbc was vacant, hagler was stripped of his belts for fighting leonard. All the belts were up for grabs. Hopkins unified followed by Taylor.

Yeah, but believe it or not, there's a guy who had it before Hopkins and after SRL.

And no, the answer is not Tye Fields.

Is this based on who won the Wbc belt that was officially on the line in the Hagler vs Leonard fight? If it is , then its Tommy Hearns.

No, it's not based on the WBC. So it's not Hearns.
