What will go down as a bigger upset?!?!

20 years from now when ppl talk about the greatest upsets in the history of boxing, which of these will be ranked higher....Douglas knockout of Tyson...which is already one of the biggest ever....or Tarver's knockout of Roy Jones Jr. I dont mean in sense of betting odds, but more in the sense of at the time of the knockout losses who was the more dominant fighter and when we look back down the road when we talk about Tyson and Jones being ATG whos knockout loss was the bigger upset. Explain, cuz I'd love to see what you guys think....

While Tarver's KO of Jones was stunning and dramatic, it is Douglas-Tyson by a mile. It's not really even close. Tarver had just lost a very close decision to Roy. The other fight is the biggest upset in sports history.

douglas was apparantly a 42-1 underdog so douglas-tyson wins it by a mile.

Proof that anything can happen in this sport.

Tarver had been calling out Roy, had great physical attributes (being a tall southpaw), and was coming off a controversial loss that many saw him winning. Buster came out of no where and knocked out the baddest man on the planet, this isnt even a debate. Buster was by leaps and bounds the bigger upset, not even in the same category to me, cant see how anyone can think otherwise.

I read Douglas was 33-1, not sure if that is accurate but it was clearly the greatest upset in boxing history. (would like to see how Clay-Liston was though)....

For me it's tough tho.....I mean both were huge at the respective times, For me Roy was just soo head and shoulders above every fighter for about a decade that to see him get laid out was almost a dream...I men when i seen it I almost **** myself, I had to slap myself in the face because I couldnt believe what I was wtching. But like you said Tyson was a wrecking ball and seeing him get pounded all night was amazing. Tyson you had a feeling or at least I did that his style could get him in a lot of trouble if the fighter could hang in there and get through the erly rounds but with Jones the things he did to guys made you think he couldnt be touched although he always had flaws...so personally Im torn
