      pretty honest assessment i think. he probably could have done more, and will do more if he gets another title shot or big fight. don't get me wrong. cotto is clearly on another level. 10 times out of 10 cotto beats gomez convincingly. but gomez looked glove-shy in there. his wins over tackie and gatti are good wins. you can't discredit him for those wins, regardless of where those guys were in their careers.
