I do however doubt Kessler changing mangager unless Palle's illness gets fatal. Not even a hospitalization for a seriuos heart-condition during the Calzaghe-week in Cardiff could convince Palle to quit or Kessler to make a change.

Mogens Palle today stated that Mikkel Kesslers come-back fight is unlikely to be shown on HBO. "Showtime is at the same time showing the Miranda-Abraham rematch, so it's doubtful HBO will televise."

This must mean that Kessler will not fight a big american name like Taylor or Lacy.

The field is narrowing down. Maybe Haussler, Mundine (unlikely), Larsen or perhaps OTTKE who's searching for a new opponent after the Michalschewski fight fell trough.

and don't know if i'm the only one that thinks this but i think kessler was mentally broken by calzaghe and is being matched up very carefully.

I think you may be right. Some fighters (Naseem Hamed springs to mind) can't handle losing their unbeaten records or being defeated full stop. They go into psychological meltdown and find it difficult to motivate themselves.

Perhaps the constant stream of aborted deals and rumous reflects the frustrations of Kessler's management team.

Can Kessler leave Teampalle ?. Mads Larsen and Rudi Marcussen tried, but as long as they where on any ranking list, they belong to Teampalle. Mads Larsen had to be inactive for more than 3 years to be able to sign with Sauerland. Marcussen haven't fought sinds the Kessler - Andrade event.
