His lack of marketability and standoffish personality have hurt him in that respect.

He's fighting a crossroads fight with Mora like he has something to prove. Forrest shouldn't even be in this kind of a fight. That said, that scenario makes him just as hungry because he hasn't gotten the big paydays a fighter as accomplished as he should have.

If Forrest loses, he goes back to square one. No hope of big paydays, nothing like that. It's over. If Mora loses, then he will get dismissed as being another Contender bum. So really, both guys everything to lose. That makes it a much more exciting kind of fight.
    I agree 100%!

This is the same guy who, back in 03 in Temecula before the Mayorga fight, told my cousin Nelson "Who the f**k are you" when he wished him luck against Mayorga. Oh well...

It was a little uncalled for because I was trying to be nice and told him I would go to the ATM immediately but he wanted to hold my phone as collateral. For a guy who is very proud of his financial situation, he was sweating that $100 bucks.

I'm a fair man though and a bet is a bet. I gave him his money and wished him luck in his next fight.

I can't stand Vernon Forrest. He is a prick and a crybaby.

Well, I'm going back to school hopefully in September, I'll be a Sop****re. I no longer wait tables, I did that back in West Palm Beach because I needed some work in the interim after coming down to Florida. I work hard with writing and it's all coming a long fine. Sure man, add my AIM. I'm on sometimes.

I don't understand how people are making this fight out to be a hard one for Vernon because honestly, the odds are that it will be a walk in the park. He is a class above Mora in all of his attributes. Skill, experience, devotion ect. Elvin Ayala, Peter Manfredo, ect all gave Mora trouble by simply out working him and boxing and thats where he will be out classed in this fight. Vernon is an A class fighter, Mora is a C- class fighter.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Everyone seems to like Forrest big, but I think they're selling Mora short and it will be a very competitive fight.
