Amir Khan, Michael Gomez Vow Knockout Wins

Both fighters promised fireworks on June 21 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. Gomez promised to overcome the odds one more time and blow Khan away within a few rounds by starting the action at a high-pace with a lot of power-punches being used. He doesn't think Khan will be able to handle the pressure. [details]

Well, nobody gets really excited abou Amir Khan fights really. The only thing his opponents lack are dresses, because they all fight like women.Maybe one day frank warren will wake up and bring some real fighters as opponents

i totally agree. that fight was amazing, action all the way thru ... both fighters hurt ... splendid.

Gomez may be able to test Khans chin .... finally .... despite people saying Limond knocked him down Khan was off balance and took a flurry while backing off and thats why he went down ... ive never seen him take a full blooded shot to the chin and thats what he needs right now .... you never know how good a prospect is until his chin and heart are tested.

ps if anyone has the arthur vs gomez fight or the brodie vs chi (I) to upload id be grateful

I still can't get my head around the Wank Warren's logic in making this fight. Khan has worked his way to contender status and then takes a fight against a super-featherweight who is shot, where is the logic in that. I think its because they want Khan to face someone who has power before he really steps up to world championship level, but I can't see Gomez being able to demonstrate his power as I think this fight will be over in a hurry. Poor choice of opponent, but so typical of Wank Warren.
