    Khan in the Lightweight Mix

    C JOEL CASAMAYOR 36-3-1 (22)
    1 NATE CAMPBELL 32-5-1 (25)
    2 DAVID DIAZ 33-1-1 (17)
    3 JUAN DIAZ 33-1 (17)
    4 JOSE SANTA CRUZ 25-3 (14)
    5 JULIO DIAZ 34-4 (25)
    6 MICHAEL KATSIDIS 23-1 (20)
    7 AMIR KHAN 17-0 (13)
    8 YURI ROMANOV 21-2 (14)
    9 ZAHIR RAHEEM 29-2 (17)
    10 ANTHONY PETERSON 26-0 (19)

Latest 135 lb rankings from the Ring website. Kahn's got his next fight scheduled, so he's got one more chance to tune up before he really steps his game up and pushes to be elite. Assumin Pac beats Diaz, he could be a potential opponent too. I think Khan can have a LW belt around his waist a year from now. How do you think he fares against some of these other guys in the top ten right now?

I think he loses to Campbell, Juan Diaz, Peterson and Santa Cruz.

The rest are toss ups because we haven't seen Khan in against a top fighter at lightweight yet.

Anything could happen in a Katsidis fight because of Katsidis' lack of defense but I'd give the edge to Katsidis.

A fight with Casamayor strongly depends on how much Casamayor has left after his battle with Katsidis.

Raheem should be able to beat him as well.

Contradicting yourself a tad there. Saying it's hard to judge then saying he'll lose to all those fighters

Campbell, Juan Diaz, Peterson and Santa Cruz, I'm pretty sure he'd lose to them, but anything can happen in boxing.

Katsidis and Casamayor, I'm not sure about because of reasons already stated, so they're toss ups to me, as are the rest of the fighters I haven't mentioned.

With Raheem, it depends on which Raheem shows up.

Campbell would take Khan out awfull fight stylistically for Khan

Campbell knows every trick in the book & Khan is 2 inexperienced to hang with Campbell ontop of that Campbell is a puncher with a good D

Juan Diaz is more experienced than Khan & has been involved in fights with other top fighters like Frietas ,Julio Diaz & even he did'nt have enough to beat Campbell

Katsidis to easy to hit IMO i think Khan would KO him

im a fan of Anthony Peterson that would be a good fight id pick Peterson though

Khan is to inexperienced to hang with these guys at the moment anyway ,he has too many defensive flaws & not enough durability to beat them without a sound Defence

Khan would like like God against Katsidis, once he steps up it should be against him.

Though Khan would have to show heart and grit as nobody loves fighting more than Katsidis.

Out of the others, Casa could old man him. Khan would beat Romanov. David Diaz and Julio Diaz I'd favour him against, Juan Diaz would take Khan apart unless he improves his defence.

I haven't seen enough of the others including Nate Campbell.
