de la Hoya is a natural 135lb'er then.

The man fought at the same weight as de la Hoya (150) all these topics are pissing me off. ALL THE FIGHT WAS FOR WAS RING RUST AND TO TRY NEW THINGS AT A LOWER WEIGHT! a warm up fight for Mayweather. Didn't anyone wonder why it went 12 rounds for no title? It was a glorified sparing season for de la Hoyas fans to see him in action free.

The only thing De La Hoya is going to destroy in the fight is the padding in Cotto's beloved 8oz gloves because those are the only things he can hit at this stage of his career.

de la Hoya doesn't need to impress anyone to get the fight he wants. He basically owns boxing.
