Best arguments for JMM vs. Campbell

Alright, so if this fight happens, I don't know who I think is going to win.

I want people to present their best arguments for who they think will win.

THAT MEANS, that each post will have the strategy that ONE (and only one) fighter will use to win the fight.

I don't want competing scenarios for both winning...

I want to be convinced one way or another, and the best way to do that is to hear why people think their pick will win.

For Marquez to win, he will have to be a counter puncher, he shouldn't stand and trade with Campbell because Campbell is the bigger puncher and he is naturally the bigger and stronger man. He'll have to make Campbell come to him and make him miss and make him pay.

That doesn't mean I think Marquez will get knocked out if he gets hit flush because he did manage to take some of Pacquiao's best punches and get back up and kept on fighting, but the most effective way for him to win the fight is to counterpunch.

I see this fight going to Juan Manuel Marquez by SD

Counterpunching Will Win It For Marquez

Against Pacquiao, we saw a JMM which was forced to be more agressive because of the relentless offense from Manny Pacquiao. But what we also saw was intellegence, adaptability and composure from Marquez which allowed him to stay leveled (when he wasnt catching a left from Pac) and stay focused on the task at hand.

Campbell can also be a great pressure fighter as we saw with Diaz, but the pressure he was utilizing was for the inside game. Marquez is too smart to allow himself to be drawn into a tug of war of close proximity with Campbell. That isnt his kind of fight. Marquez will understand that he will be in new untested waters. I dont think he will understimate the power and strength Nate will be bringing into the ring with him so he will be extra cautious of Nate's right hand. Campbell will be stalking JMM trying to Box him and draw him into exchanges here and there and thats where I see JMM counterpunching, taking advantage of the openings Campbell will be leaving. I wouldnt doubt JMM being dropped once, but as he has proven, a knockdown will only make him more focused and adapt to whatever Nate will bring.
