Margarito forces Mayweather to fight a perfect defensive fight that everyone calls boring. Reason for this, his volume punching his toughness. Mayweather cannot hurt Margarito. If Mayweather makes more than 2-3 mistakes (not many in 12 rounds) Tony can take this.

Cotto is open for straight rights and uppercuts, he make some noise for a few rounds, then the counters get to him, his stamina and chin are not enough for him to beat Mayweather. Cotto keeps coming and gets stopped (corner/ref/prolly not a ko) or jsut shuts down output and movement and gets potshotted to a UD loss.

Floyd is a better fighter than anyone on that list but he will get beaten if he were to face Margarito. Margarito is like a very large Hatton or Castillo with a granite chin. He would be like the Terminator and Floyd would have nothing that would stop him. Accurate counters and a great defense will not save him in this fight i'm afraid.

Eazy question Cotto! Margarito is slow and wide open...Mayweather would win a U.D. Cotto is fast and still improving but I think Mayweather would K.O him.

Still seems like Miguel Cotto, tricky thing is Cottos conditioning, He did great vs Margarito and was dominating early and the reason on why he lost was his conditioning. Cotto does take a few rounds off (shane, Margarito) and that will be a problem with Floyd imo.

Margarito,because Cotto and Mosley would apply considerably less pressure,trying to rely more on their boxing skill and reflexes,which might not work well in thier favor.Now Margarito would relly more on pressure and punch output which is tremendous because of his size,thus making him more effective!!

MIguel Cotto is such a strong counter puncher with great speed Mayweather would gain his respect quick fast and in a hurry.

I also dont think Mayweather has what it takes to KO Cotto. Cotto cant take overwhelmingness and high volume which is what Shane brought at athe end of thier fight and what Margarito steadily rbought to the his fight with Cotto.
