Floyd WAS exciting prior to moving up. But he cant be exciting now at Welter and I can't blame him. It doesn't favor him to do so. I'm not discrediting him, im just speaking the truth.
Oscar and Floyd from the same market so that's hard to compare. Better comparison is between there fan bases or who is watching the fights. when u compare it that way, it's not much of a drop. Fact is whenever somebody fights Floyd they achieve their highest PPV ever and get the most $$$ ever.

Mitchell was a a good fight, it ended in aTKO and he was put down twice I believe.

Oscar was a entertaining fight as well. Do u like boxing?
      did u like barrera/Marquez? of barrera/juarez?
well, theres no use talking to you. i have a feeling you think Baldomir/Mayweather was more entertaining than any of the Marquez/Vazquez fights like many of your fellow Floydians.

        • lol Who caresssssssssssssssssssssss if they hate Mexicans

2501 needs to be sent out to live with the Jaguars in Mexico's jungle for a month, to make his skin into armor, to fight for food, and to help make his machete hand swift and powerfull!

to make sure when he comes back he doesn't make threads like this lol

            Brusseles got Koed too.

LOL I knew you would say something to this effect

            lets see

Corley was NOT a slugfest. Yes Corley tried to pressure the speed of Mayweather but after about round 2 it was a clinic against a guy whose best days were starting to be in the rearview. He had the right game plan and had it been earlier in Chops career then I would think it would have been more competitive

I don't see how you can call the Mitchell fight entertaining just because he stopped him. Shotbay had been on shaky legs ever since Kostya dispatched him in three.

You can't tell me just because he stopped Nitro it made for entertainment. If thats the case then every fight the ended in a stoppage or KO should be considered the same LOL.

point I am making is that while you and the hardcore Mayweather fans may like what he did in there with the above it still doesn't mean the fights were entertaining. All three of those guys were either severly overmatched (Brusseles) or past their best days to form any type of excitement about the prospects of it being entertaining. The fact that it was target practice for Floyd doesn't make it a good fight period. If that was the case then DLH Forbes would be on the same level and I found that fight to be less than entertaining

I was at the DLH (as well as the Hatton one) and suffice to say it was boring as hell. You may have gotten caught up in the hype behind it but the actual action in the ring wasn't close to matching the story it tried to sell. Take away all the glitter all the pretty packaging away from it and it's a ho him fight.

I probably watch and attend way more fights then you so yes I do watch the sport

and is the last statement supposed to show some kind of bias towards anything? if so you are barking up the wrong tree but go ahead entertain me prove you sorely mistaken

First of all, that is a sweeping generalization in every sense of the phrase.
Second, much of the distain between the two factions relates to the fact that many Mexican fans constantly belittle Floyd and discredit his accomplishements because they have no other way to deal with the fact that Margarito has yet to earn a shot against Floyd.
I would say much of the "hate" as you call it; is backlash from that.

The fact that you are saying this (one of the more biased and [according to many others] racist posters on this board), is actully quite laughable.

keyword is "Floyd", not black boxers. its Floyd's black fans that equate discrediting Floyd to discrediting Black boxers which is BS. And you'll be hard pressed to find any posts like "black boxers are overrated" but i can point out many examples from some Floyd fans like this..
