Do most boxers lose their personality, wittyness etc due to being punched in the head and brain damage?

no they definetely don't... Brain damage from boxing is almost always neorological damage meaning its nerve damage and motor skill damage though psychologically they won't go insane or actually become dumb.

Well i know some guys who fought on the Oxford Uni team and they are still capable of quantum mechanics theories and equations... that shoudl make you feel a bit better.
