After I saw the De la Hoya/Forbes fight, I thought that Mayweather, being a much superior fighter than Forbes, who will also cheat if he wants/needs (debatable), could score a TKO by referee stoppage over De la Hoya in their rematch. Do you agree?
Can Floyd Mayweather Jr. TKO De la Hoya?

He has the tools, but i doubt he will take the chances in order to do so. Remember, Floyd is a defensive/safety-first fighter. He knows that Oscar still has a dangerous left hook. He will fight as cautious as he did in thier first fight. -

You do have a point. Makes me think about Hopkins/Calzaghe after the knockdown. Hopkins (like Mayweather) is so defensive/con minded that he just won't take the risk.Comment

He can, time will tell if he will though. He said in an interview "Why would I knock him out for thirty when I could beat him for thirty and then knock him out for 60" Don't know how much of that I believe though.Comment
