Well it's false.
For the most part, Floyd has always boxed early and sat down on his punches later. From lightweight to now. See his title-winning performance against Hernandez or the Corrales bout, for examples. Even against Castillo. It's been his M.O. from day one. But he just switches it up at times depending on the opponent and their plan.Comment

I know u are not saying that Floyd is the same fighter, or should i say, has the same fighting style now, that he did at 130 & 135. He was MUCH more aggresive and offensive minded back then. If that's what you are saying, than u will be hard pressed to find anyone who agrees with you.Well it's false.

Would Cotto be the same fighter if he was at 154 or 160??I know u are not saying that Floyd is the same fighter, or should i say, has the same fighting style now, that he did at 130 & 135. You chose not to reply to my last post?
Could it be because you were exposed as nothing more than a Calzaghe hater?
After all, you applaud his acheivements when you don't know who I'm talking about, yet you tell me he is a bum and has fought nobody.
Make up your pathetic little mind.Comment

Actually no, this is a common claim of the fanboyz, especially when they say he will KO so and so and everyone knows he wont, they use arguements of how he KO'd similair styled fighters at 130 and 135. They don't seem to take into account that he fights differently now.I know u are not saying that Floyd is the same fighter, or should i say, has the same fighting style now, that he did at 130 & 135. LOL. U always try to spin the topic around by throwing Cotto into the mix. The poster is insuating that Floyd is the same now than he was back then. Even u know that's false. As for Cotto, he has shown that he is different at 147 than he was at 140. Different for the better.
BTW, why didnt u answer my question in the other thread? If Cotto was worthy enough for Floyd to fight at 140, why is he "unworthy" now? His stock, resume, and notoriety has only grown since then.Comment

My comment is not false. Against Hernandez and just about all his opponents at the lower weight PBF fought more in the pocket and in front of his opponents. Now that he has moved up he doesn't fight like that until those bigger fighters are tired.Well it's false.

And I know YOU aren't talking after conveniently avoiding all the posts that proved your last point FALSE.I know u are not saying that Floyd is the same fighter, or should i say, has the same fighting style now, that he did at 130 & 135. And no one is saying Floyd is the same fighter that he was at 130-135. But this idea that he waits for opponents to get tired is, for lack of a better term, dumb.
He MAKES opponents get tired. And not by running either.Comment
