Please look at all the stats before you say anything. And if floyd fought forbes in floyd's hometown for $25 im sure he'd have a packed house.

this is what i find amusing about Floyd Fans. these dudes spin EVERYTHING in favor for Floyd. these dudes should work for political campaigns and make some money off of their talents.

These dudes are saying Floyd could sell 27,000 tickets with a nobody right? What do Oscar and Hatton have in common? They have a strong fan base which supports at his fights. They buy tickets to watch them fight.

Mayweather vs. De La Hoya = Pro De La Hoya Crowd
Mayweather vs. Hatton = Pro Hatton Crowd

"People go to Floyd's fights to see him lose" - Floyd Stan

Really? So then you're saying 27,000 People would go to see Floyd fight against a no body because of the possibility of him losing to that no body?

The fact is that Floyd has not had an actual solid fan base cheering for him at fights. It has been HIS opponents who have really packed the seats with THEIR fans. so if he's gonna fight a no body with no fan base.......................*cue dramatic chipmunk*

      Floyd Fans on parage otravez!!!!!!

I wish Mayweather had the balls Margarito has...

With that said, Floyd Mayweather is simply not a draw. He cannot carry an event with his own name. It's been proven time and time again. If you're impressed by 300k against Baldomir, you have to realize many other fighters do those type of numbers. It's nothing special. Fact is, Mayweather needs a good dance partner.

The reason he tries to protect his unblemished record is because that is the only reason people want to see him fight. They want to see him lose. DLH and Hatton can lose a few fights and the fans will still support them. Mayweather doesn't have any fans that like him for anything more than his record and P4P status...
